If you are looking for a Quality Contractor, let me tell you my story. In March of 2015 we were cooking on the kitchen stove and the next thing we knew we had a Kitchen Fire. Smoke was everywhere due to the flames of a grease fire that also burned my Stove, Counter Top and Some Upper Kitchen Cabinets. Fortunately no one was hurt but of course my Kitchen was ruined and there was Smoke Damage Everywhere in the Kitchen, Laundry Room, Living Room and Hallway. We called several local companies looking for a good Contractor to repair our home for what the Insurance Company had paid us and one of those calls was to Mr. Ewing of Creative Remodeling. He told us that not only could he repair our home but he might also be able to help us negotiate a higher but fair claim settlement amount with our insurance company to help assure we received the best possible settlement price in order to guarantee high quality repair work. Well, you hear that kind of stuff all the time. However, in this case, once we agreed to let Mr. Ewing take over the time consuming and difficult task of negotiating our claim settlement with our insurance company, Mr. Ewing and Creative Remodeling was able to Increase the Original Insurance Company Settlement Offer from $ 5,769.74 to a Final Settlement Agreement of $ 17,420.16 and the only money we paid out of pocket was our Deductible of $ 500.00 plus some Additional Work we needed and decided to pay for ourselves. It took a while to get the claim settled but Mr. Ewing kept us informed every step of the way and once the work got started the repairs progressed fairly rapidly. There was one instance where we were not satisfied with some of the living room ceiling repair and paint work but Mr. Ewing returned our call quickly, met with us to review the issue and had his crew make the needed repairs within just a day or two. We are VERY PLEASED with the work Mr. Ewing and Creative Remodeling have done for us and HIGHLY RECOMMEND THEM!!! Living in a damaged home while trying to get the insurance company to pay enough money to cover the costs of making quality repairs to your damaged property, then, finding the time to call around trying to locate and hire someone who will actually prepare an estimate and agree to repair your home for what the insurance company pays you … plus … trying to do all of this when you have to go to work every day… well … it’s very stressful. Mr. Ewing and Creative Remodeling took all that stress off both me and my family because not only did he do an EXCELLENT Job of Negotiating a Fair Settlement for us with our Insurance Company but the high quality work his crews did on all of the repairs to our home … Ceiling & Paint Repair, New Living Room & Hallway Pad and Carpet, New Vinyl Flooring in the Kitchen and Laundry Room … AND … My NEW and BEAUTIFUL Kitchen Cabinets ( NO PARTICLEBOARD ) and Countertop … Well … I Couldn’t Be Happier.
